Annie Dillard is a Pulitzer Prize-winning American author. She is best known for her narrative prose in both fiction and non-fiction. She has published two novels, poetry, essays, prose, literary criticism, and a memoir.

    Yikes! Hasn’t Ms. Dillard heard of revision? I can’t understand people who regularly throw out pages/chapters and start from scratch. Okay, I get it if there’s a big plot change — I’ve been there. But generally, you can revise anything into shape. Throw out the bathwater, but keep the baby!

    same with illustrators….sketch, concepts, characters…. then start over! creative process….
